We have fourteen students currently receiving scholarships form the Angela Stanford Foundation. We’d like to take a moment to introduce the four students that received scholarships in 2018/2019 thanks to your generous sponsorships and donations.

The Angela Stanford Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to serve children and young adults in our community, particularly those whose families have been affected by cancer.

When I graduated high school, it seemed very unlikely that I would be able to afford attending a university. My parents were not able to help pay since my mom had cancer and my dad had lost his job multiple times throughout her treatment. I am so grateful to Angela Stanford and the foundation for the support these past four years. It has helped me attend Dallas Baptist University to pursue a degree in computers science.

-Next Step: In June, I will begin a new position as a data engineer at Ramsey Solution in Tennessee.
The Angela Stanford Foundation is a blessing to me and my family in that it appeals to those who have had hardship either with friends, themselves, or in my case a family member. There is nothing more comforting then knowing I am not alone and that a foundation such as this has allowed me to pursue my goals and dreams. Thank you for all that you do and the personal touch you have had on me.
